NSCH Conference for Personal Hygiene in Schools

The Nigerian School Health Association (NSHA) has begun its 26th annual national conference and workshop yesterday at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Otto/Ijanikin, Lagos State.
The forum, with the theme: “Personal health and hygiene of members of school community in Nigeria,” is aimed at educating and enlightening participants on how best to address the challenges of personal health and hygiene in school communities. A release from the association said the conference would also fine-tune ways to promote and maintain healthy living in schools and the outside communities.
The conference, which is expected to draw many health and physical educators, nurses, psychologists and medical doctors as resource persons will be rounded-off on Saturday. Prof. Segun Fatusi, Director, Institute of Public Health at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife who will be delivering keynote paper, while Prof. Rafiu Okuneye, Dean, Faculty of Education, Lagos State University, Ojo, and Prof. Funke Suleiman of the Department of Physical and Health Science, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria are billed to present papers.
Three prominent scholars, namely: Prof. Chuks Ezedum, Vice Chancellor, Madonna University, Rivers State; Prof. C.A. Ajibola of the Department of Physical and Health Education, University of Calabar; among others will also be conferred with the association’s fellowship during the event
