The Directorate of Technical Aid Corps, Ministry of Foreign Affairs is by this notice, inviting suitably qualified Nigerians, for recruitment as Volunteers into the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps Scheme. Prospective Volunteers would be required to render lecturing and research services in the Universities of Rwanda and The Gambia, respectively in the capacity below:
 
Position: Lecturers

College: Medicine, Health Sciences and Pharmacy
School: Public Health/Community Health
 
Summary
 The Scheme is an important tool of Nigerian Foreign Policy, designed to foster South-South Cooperation by way of providing manpower assistance in specific areas of interest on request from African, Caribbean and Pacific (APC) Countries.
 Prospective candidates must be highly proficient and must possess the required core competences in the underlisted fields of study.
 
Core Competences
Health Informatics:
• Teaching at master's level (The Modules are Telemedicine, Clinical decision support system, E Health Enterprise Architecture, E Health Project Management) 
• Review and Update Curriculum content 
• Supervising student research 
 
Dietetics:
• Dietetics 
• Teach all modules related to Dietetics 
• Train students to Elaborate Diets 
 
Histopathology:
• Teach all levels-General Histology, Histopathologi and Cytopathology 
• Review and update Curriculum content 
• Undertake fieldwork with students (Research and Clinical attachment) 
• Work in Biomedical laboratory diagnostic center (Histopatholegy Service) 
 
Medical Entomology:
• To teach first year studenls- Entomology Unit 
• Review and update curriculum Content 
• Undertake research activities with students
 
Epidemiology:
• Epidemiology
• Teach all modules related to Epidemiology
• Review and update curriculum content
• Undertake research activities with students
 
Medical Imaging Sciences:
• Teach at 3rd and 4th levels
• Review and update curriculum content
• Undertake rieldwork with students
• Supervise Research
 
Intensive Care:
• Teaching in PG programs (Anesthesis & Emergencies
• CPDs in Critical Care Medicine for loco health professionals
• Support research activities
 
Obstetric/Pediatric/Regional Anesthesia Specialist:
• Teaching PG program 
• CPDs for loco health professionals in Obstetric/Pediatric/Regional Anesthesia
• Support research activities
 
Emergency Medicine Specialists:
• Teaching in PG "Emergency Medicine" program CPDs in "EMERGENCE" loco health professionals
• Support research activities
 
Human Anathomy:
• Teaching Undergraduate in general medicine (Human Anatomy)
• Teaching Anatomy with human cadacers
• Review and update curriculum content
 
Eligibility
• Lecturers in Health Informatics (Preferably PhD holders)
• Lecturers in Dietetics (PhD with teaching experience)
• Lecturers in Histopathology (PhD holder with teaching experience)
• Lecturers of Medical Entomology
• Lecturers in Epidemiology (PhD holder with teaching experience)
• Lecturers in Medical Imaging Sciences (PhD holder with teaching experience)
• Lecturers in Intensive Care (PhD holder with teaching experience)
• Lecturers in Obstetric/Pediatric/Regional Anesthesia Specialist (PhD holder or Masters with teaching experience)
• Lecturers in Emergency Medicine Specialists (PhD holder with teaching experience)
• Lecturers in Human Anathomy (PhD holder with teaching experience)
